Maame’s aspirations as a fashion designer began from an early age, but it wasn’t until she attended college that she was able to put her design skills into practice. One of her strengths is her extraordinary eye for colour which is a signature trait of her designs. Maame’s debut menswear collection is inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale 'The Emperor’s New Clothes', a collection of related separates incorporating, cottons, linen, wool and hand knitted pieces all in bright colour combinations. -
